In their last winter-break home game, Boys Basketball took on Salesian High School. Before the game, freshman player Jordan Seanez commented on their 4-4 record: "We have problems with the easy stuff, but if we do our best, I think we'll come out with a winning record." JV started the night with a 4-6 record. Junior and JV player Hector Acosta said, "We're just going to go out there and play hard, every game." Varsity's pre-season record began the night at 4-4. Junior and Varsity player Anthony Pacheco predicted "over 500 for league play." Against Salesian, the Freshmen won 58-9, JV lost 59-36, and Varsity lost 83-58.
