This is a yearlong class designed to extend the student’s knowledge and appreciation of American Literature and the ideas it expresses. The literature studied will be used as the basis for other language arts activities, and the student will actively respond to the central works through integrated vocabulary, writing, grammar, speaking, and listening activities.
