Are you already stressed about studying for tests even though it's barely the fourth week of school? No worries, the El Rancho Tutoring Lounge has got you covered. Our capable college tutors will do their best to help you with any problem in any subject. The tutoring lounge is located inside the Library Building in room L101. We are open before school at 7:15, during lunch, and after school until 4pm. . Don't wait, come get help from the tutors today.
GOOD LUCK DECATHLETES… The 12 students who make up ER's Academic Decathlon team are in the final weeks of preparation for their competition. They've been at it since late summer, and Saturday Jan. 26th is the big day. Around fifty Los Angeles County high schools are expected to attend the competition, which includes 10 separate academic events. Half the events will be Jan 26, and the other half—including the Super Quiz—will be the next Saturday, Feb. 2.

EL RANCHO HIGH SCHOOL WINTER FORMAL 2019 CONTRACT…. “THE WONDERS OF THE WORLD’.The El Rancho High School Winter Formal will be held at Mile Square Golf Course, Saturday February 2, 2019. A contract must be filled out completely by each ER student and returned to the Cashier’s Office at the time of ticket purchase. Read all information carefully. STUDENT PRICING

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS.. All locks on the skateboard racks need to be removed at the end of the day, please take your locks home with you on a daily basis. All locks that are left behind will be cut off. Thank you.
ATTENTION STUDENTS…The District is offering Athletic Accident Insurance for the 2018/19 school year. The District has made available for purchase, voluntary student and athletic accident insurance through the Student Insurance Company. The insurance provides broad coverage for 24-Hour, School-Time, Tackle Football and Extended Dental. All students participating in interscholastic sports (this includes cheerleaders, mascots, bands, drill teams, etc.) are required by the Education Code to have adequate accident/medical insurance. District procedures require all medical insurance interscholastic participants to certify accident/medical insurance coverage prior to participation. For more information please pick up form from the Activities Office.

ATTENTION STUDENTS… Skateboards need to be locked during the school day on the skateboard rack that is provided. Students must bring their own locks. Any skateboard not locked will be confiscated and will only be returned when a lock is produced. Thank you for your support in this matter.
JUST A REMINDER ON DRESS CODE…halter, see through blouses or clothing, low necklines, open back tops and tube tops are considered inappropriate. Shorts or skirts which are shorter than mid thigh are considered too short. Printing on clothing that can be deemed offensive is not allowed. If you are found violating dress code you will have to change into school issued attire and the confiscated article of clothing will not be returned until the end of the school year. Repeated violations of dress code may result in suspension.
