Just before Winter Break, Ms. Lam and Ms. Chavez' English classes visited the Getty-Villa in Malibu. The day-long trip was chaperoned by six Link Leaders (11th/12th grade students from Ms. Chavez' Link Crew class). The museum is famous for being an important collection of Roman and Greek antiquities, as well as being an accurate re-creation of an actual Greek archeological site, which fit right in with the class' recent study of The Odyssey.
