As part of its celebration of Latino Hertiage Month, the City of Los Angeles held a poster contest for K-12 students. Ms. Leal had all of her Advanced Art students participate. Winners got to share the stage with LA Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa. Honorable Mention: Anthony Rodriguez. 3rd Place: Diana Carillo. 1st Place and "Best in Show: Lynette Haro.
