Includes 98 pages of senior ads, beating 1999 by 8 pages.

"Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to tell the story of the 99-2000 school year. You must complete this assignment in less than 350 pages and costs should not exceed $35." It may be overly meticulous, but technically speaking, the "mission impossible" note on page 1 was not successful. There were 364 pages (thanks to senior ads).

Behind the Scenes: For the first time, the Annual Staff made use of a digital camera to help create the book.

Other Notes:

For the first time ever, the yearbook staff produced and sold a multi-media CD-ROM. It contained hundreds of photos not included in the yearbook, dozens of Quicktime videos of major school events, and a few "CD Exclusive" events like the KROQ Assembly, Cinco de Mayo Carnival and the Prom. The CD sold 230 copies.

Other Notes:

ROUGH DRAFTS The cover went through well over a dozen rough drafts spread over a month. The yearbook staff designed and redesigned, trying to get the look just right. To view an early draft, CLICK HERE (85KB, shockwave req'd)

COLOR WINDFALL The yearbook had an extra 8 pages of color this year, which was used in the Academics section.

Volume 2 of the CD sold over 200 copies. The costs was $5. Improved linking approach to building the shockwave modules made the cd run easier on old computers.
