Girls golf tryouts Tuesday,May 17 5:00 pm at Pico Rivera golf course. Bring 10 dollars to purchase a bucket and your own clubs. If you have any questions please contact coach May.

As end of the year activities approach, we'd like to push our ASB card again. Some remaining perks for all grade levels would be discounts on the yearbook and Prom and free Varsity letters for confirmed Varsity athletes. Seniors would get 2 additional Commencement tickets!  Cost is $40.00.  Purchase from the Cashiers Office or online on the Don Page. 

 

 

Girls tennis tryouts for current el Rancho students begin Monday may 16th after school and will continue until Friday. Ask questions in x6 this week before tryouts.

 

 

Attention JUNIORS and SOPHOMORES! Do you love movies? Do you love to discuss issues such as Racism, Prejudice, Stereotyping, Gender, and Sexuality? 

Do you want to take a Zero period course so that you can get out of school early next year or fit more into your schedule?

Next school year, Zero period will be offered Tuesday through Friday only from 7:25am to 8:25am.

Yearbooks for Sale….You can reserve a copy of the 2022 Yearbook online or in-person from the Activities Office for $85.

 

ID PICTURES…IF YOU NEED AN ID, PICTURES WILL BE TAKEN AFTER SCHOOL EVERY THURSDAY IN THE ACTIVITIES OFFICE. 

 

CASHIERS/ACTIVITIES OFFICE..Reminder – Cashier’s Office hours are before school, at lunch and after school until 3:30 pm to conduct business.  Cash, money order and ATM/Debit cards are the only forms of payment.  SORRY – NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED. 

 

Hello, Dons….Are you interested in applying to Rio Hondo College, but aren't sure how to get started? Stop by the college and career center today until 4 pm to speak to Jonathan Olmedo, our Rio Hondo representative.  

 

 

REMINDER…Food sales on campus must be approved.  Food items being sold by students or adults may be confiscated.

REMINDER TO STUDENTS…Attendance & Punctuality matter….get to class on time!

 

REMINDER…School buses will not be picking up students with the exception of the Ellen Ochoa pick up.  As of next week we will no longer run the 5:00 pm shuttle route.  .Montebello Bus Lines has resumed on Passons Blvd. cost is .75. 

 

College tutors are available every day during lunch & after school  M/W - 3:30 & T/ Th - 4:30 in the upstairs library

 

As a reminder, ERHS students are expected to follow the Don Code: Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Learn.  Students who do not meet these expectations are subject to removal from any of our events; removal from an event could also lead to suspension and exclusion from future ERHS events. 

 

 

ATTENTION ATHLETES….Athletic Clearance forms are available on the Don Page, under Activities.  If you will be participating in a sport this year, you must be physically cleared. 

 

 

ATTENTION STUDENTS…The District is offering Athletic Accident Insurance for the 2021/22 school year.  The District has made available for purchase, voluntary student and athletic accident insurance through the Student Insurance Company.  The insurance provides broad coverage for 24-Hour, School-Time, Tackle Football and Extended Dental.  All students participating in interscholastic sports (this includes cheerleaders, mascots, bands, drill teams, Night Pep Rally skit participants etc.) are required by the Education Code to have adequate accident/medical insurance.  District procedures require all medical insurance interscholastic participants to certify accident/medical insurance coverage prior to participation.  For more information please pick up form from the Activities Office.

Please do this as soon as possible, since sizes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please make every effort to get your order placed at Jostens.com at least 48 hrs before the delivery event ON May 18. Otherwise, your order will not be ready on that day. If you do not have access to a computer, you can bring $60 Cash, and you can purchase a cap and gown at the delivery event in available sizes.  No checks or credit cards.  Please bring exact change.
