- Mr. Brandt would like to comment on the positive use of hands on experiments and demonstrations in his Earth Science class. Once again he is doing his live volcano demonstration with his students, which also happens to be a collaboration with the Art department. The Art department graciously provided the materials necessary for the students to paint their volcanoes. Cross-departmental collaboration is a valuable teaching tool.
- Mr. Brandt also wanted to note a bit of serendipity, as his earthquake lectures took place around the time of the recent Pico Rivera 4.4 quake. So if anyone knows anyone with a seismograph/Richter scale, send it his way.
